A Special Tribute

Early this morning, I received a shocking news from my secondary school classmate that my secondary 2 Form-cum-Maths teacher has passed away suddenly today. I was really shocked and for some time I did not have the mood nor concentration on my work. I had just started work in my office then and for almost the whole morning, my thoughts were about him and the times during my secondary school life.

He became my permanent Form teacher during secondary 2. The reason I used the word 'permanent' is that my class had several changes to Form teachers then. I cannot remember how many Form teachers we had during that one year. My class was the legendary Class 2E3 and was the most rowdy Express class you can ever find in this world. Before he came, all the teachers who attempted to control our class failed to do so. Only he could control our class and made us listen to him. Somehow he managed to touch the hearts of everyone in my class and finally we got him as our permanent Form Teacher.

The last time I saw him was at my wedding in May 2009. Here is a photo taken during my wedding:

Dear Mr Ng, thank you for making a difference in our lives. You will always be remembered in our hearts.
